Unfortunately, every company and website owner that advertises on sites listed are not always honest. You will be visiting hundreds of websites and you'll find your computer getting slower and slower. Usually, it's SpyWare ,
or sometimes a toolbar you didn't download will appear like magic. I tried a few toolbars, and so far my experience has been that they slow my computer down. Actually, the less you download, the better off you will be. Be very
discriminating about what you put on your computer.
That said, you need SpyWare Protection.

One thing I want to tell you about the spyware programs is that sometimes they will include your good files. I noticed it included the antivirus exe file. I knew this was a good file and kept it, so if you're not sure if it's a good file or not, leave it there. Most of the time, spyware is very evident, but not always so watch how your computer acts.
Using a browser other than Explorer helps because most viruses and adware is geared to download from that particular browser. I finally found another browser that I really like and is fast too. It has mail, browser, website composer, and more.
